WWE 2K Coming To Mobile, Includes Live Multiplayer and More


2K Sports is introducing a new mobile game for fans of WWE by. 2K issued a press release and said it would the “first simulation-based WWE video game.” Available on both Android and iOS, WWE 2K will be released in the spring.

WWE 2K even includes many features available on the flagship WWE 2K console editions of the game, including live multiplayer, unlockables, and create-a-superstar mode! WWE 2K is being developed by n-Space and Visual concepts and promises “authentic gameplay.”

The current confirmed character roster includes many fan-favorites; John Cena, Sting, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Undertaker, Seth Rollins, Triple H, and even the immortal Hulk Hogan! As WWE 2K’s spring launch date comes close, there are sure to be more of your favorites added.


WWE 2K lets you wrassle in three different matches, complete move sets, and even includes full superstar ring entrances. The most exciting part of the announcement could very well be the live multiplayer matches allowing you to go one-on-one in a mobile squared circle with wrestling fans around the world! As for how mobile game play compares to the console version, few details have been released but the developers have mentioned the goal is to make it as close to console controls as possible—gamepad support maybe?

WWE 2K comes on the heels of WWE Supercard which broke—actually destroyed—sales records and WWE Immortals which saw WWE superstars reimagined as superheroes. Fans have immensely enjoyed these titles but were clamoring for a wrestling simulation game and they finally got their wish!

WWE 2K will be released this spring and will be available for $7.99.
